Why Train the Trainer? Train-the-Trainer programs are essential because great subject matter expertise doesn’t automatically translate to effective teaching. By training future trainers, organizations ensure consistency, quality, and engagement in how knowledge is transferred. TTT programs empower individuals not just to deliver content, but to inspire, adapt to diverse learners, and drive real behavioral change. It’s about creating a ripple effect, one well-trained trainer can elevate the skills of hundreds.
Training the Trainer is essential for ensuring that the principles and nuances of POSH Law are effectively communicated and upheld within an organization. By equipping trainers with detailed knowledge, practical skills, and the right teaching methodologies, organizations can ensure that all employees receive consistent, accurate, and impactful education on preventing ‘Sexual harassment’.
What is the role of a Trainer? In the context of POSH, a trainer plays a vital role in shaping workplace culture. They are not just messengers of the law but champions of respect, safety, and equity. A POSH trainer must be adept at handling delicate discussions, dispelling myths, encouraging participation, and addressing doubts without judgment. They translate legal language into relatable learning, ensuring that every employee, from frontline staff to leadership, understands their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of respectful conduct. Ultimately, POSH trainers help build trust and accountability, making them critical to an organization’s compliance and conscience.
The program will be carried out in mixed format, including presentations, audio-visual aides, exercises, group discussions, case studies, practical scenarios and learning activities, spread over a duration of 7 hours. The program schedule is as follows:

This week, I had the privilege of participating in a half-day POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training, meticulously arranged by our HR team at Aditya Birla Chemicals. It was a comprehensive session designed for all Internal Committee (IC) members across our factories, individual businesses, and at the sector level. Exceptional Training by Shivangi Prasad. A special mention to Shivangi Prasad, who facilitated the training. Her approach was engaging and interactive, making the 4-hour session fly by. The use of multiple case studies effectively highlighted the gravity of our responsibilities, yet ensured the training was not burdensome. There were numerous meaningful takeaways.
