On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Adv. Divya R, Chief Research & Development Officer at The Legal Swan, had the privilege of addressing the students of IIT Madras, thanks to Sahara – The Social Welfare Society, for organizing an exclusive session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace.
During the session, Divya helped students explore key aspects of the POSH law, including:
✔ Understanding what constitutes sexual harassment
✔ Debunking common myths (such as whether POSH is anti-men)
✔ How to report incidents
✔ Objectives and role of CCASH
✔ Legal protections against victimization and retaliation
It was truly encouraging to see students actively engage, ask thoughtful questions, and seek clarity on how the law functions in real-world scenarios. Meaningful conversations like these are essential in fostering safer and more inclusive environments.
