Adv. Afroze Khan

Senior Legal Advisor | External Member & Litigation

Adv. Afroze Khan is a seasoned advocate with 12+ years of experience across civil, criminal, labour, banking, and constitutional litigation, bringing deep procedural rigour and courtroom-tested judgment to complex workplace matters.

Afroze’s legal grounding is strengthened by his formative years assisting senior advocates at the Supreme Court of India, including work under Adv. Zoheb Hossain, Advocate-on-Record. Earlier, he trained under leading practitioners in district courts and High Courts, handling civil, criminal, consumer, family, labour, and service law disputes

Why Afroze adds strategic value to POSH & workplace inquiries?

Adv. Afroze’s role is critical where inquiries intersect with legal risk. His strengths lie in:

  • Procedural fairness & natural justice & ensuring inquiries are conducted in a manner that withstands judicial scrutiny
  • Evidence appreciation & contradiction analysis, drawn from years of trial exposure
  • Drafting legally robust findings and recommendations

This makes him a strong legal counter-balance in sensitive cases, particularly those involving senior employees, parallel criminal proceedings or post-inquiry litigation risk. Academic & International Exposure Afroze holds a B.B. A. LL.B. (Hons.) from KIIT School of Law, with specialization in Constitutional Law. He also trained in International Arbitration under Prof. Martin Hunter (Nottingham Law School) and undertook consultancy with McCullough Robertson Lawyers, Australia.

Beyond litigation, Afroze has worked as a voluntary teacher with the National Association for the Blind, reflecting a grounded, people-centric approach—an essential quality when advising on sensitive workplace matters.
