Adv. Shivangi Prasad have always been an ardent fan of Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India for his views on the importance of gender sensitivity. Right from bringing out the first of a kind Handbook on Combatting Gender Stereotypes to suggesting enabling of remote work for women colleagues during menstruation – he has always been an advocate for effective inclusion.
It was a dream come true to actually see him in-person, speak about these aspects so passionately. I was at the Supreme Court for conducting a sensitization session on POSH (along with Veenu Kakkar and Piyali) and to see the Leader walk the talk was the most amazing feeling.
Hon’ble Justice Kohli, who has been the Chairperson of Supreme Court’s Gender Sensitisation and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC), along with managing all the other roles, was also there and brought up some very important questions with respect to gender and how we look at this term. She has been an inspiration for many of us. Again – there are no words to exactly describe this moment in the picture.
